Triceratops Panic w a Fret about Woolly Mammoth Cloning

Have you heard there's a Triceratops Panic going on?

Seems that in popular culture we get used to the Science News we like and then get huffy when it's updated by further discoveries. What we've known for years as a 'Triceratops' may be only a teen on its way to becoming a full-grown Torosaurus.

Oops! Kind of like the change of status astronomers visited upon little Pluto a while back yet as an astrologer, I remain unimpressed with Pluto's demotion - and still use Pluto in my horoscopes as significator for power, subversion, spying, transformation, death, and other of life's weightier issues including tremendous wealth.

Discovered in the 1930s, Pluto's entry into our solar system panoply times perfectly with atomic energy advances as does Neptune's discovery in 1846: photography, film, and gas lighting were invented in that era, and seances and spiritualism were popular - all astrological provinces of nebulous Neptune.

And for Pluto, the plutonium of nuclear energy figures in as well as the ongoing meltdown in Japan sadly reminds us.

Well, I don't know if a teen Triceratops would approve of this blog's fretful Odes to a Woolly Mammoth in the least, but I feel a new one coming on anyway...

With cloned woolly mammoths returning
it's all commons sense we'll be spurning
a creature so wild
won't be meek or mild
one great big mistake we'll be learning.
